Nava Eisin

Until her retirement, Nava Eisin was the Director of the Tel-Aviv University Archive of Jewish Education in Israel and the Diaspora, and the publisher of the journal "Dor le Dor - for the Research in the History of Education". Since 1999 she serves both as a lecturer and as an academic advisor at the Beit Berl College. Eisin authored the book "The Working Woman of Israel" and contributed to the book "Historical Archives of Jews in Poland", as well as to Ora Namir’s publication from 1978, "Recommendation to the Committee on the Statue of Women. Eisin is also the Chairperson of the Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace and is a member of the "Machsom Watch" group. Nava is a member of the national secretariat of the "Histadrut" as well as Na’amat (Movement of Working Women & Volunteers). She holds a B.A. and a teaching certificate from the Tel Aviv University, as well as a "Certified Archival" certificate and an M.A. in Librarianship and Information Science from the Hebrew University.
