Galia Lavi

Galia Lavi is a Research Fellow and the coordinator of the Israel-China program at the INSS. 


At the INSS, her main interests are Israel-China relations, focusing mainly on infrastructure; China's foreign policy in the Middle East; the Belt and Road Initiative; and China's relations with the U.S.


She is also a PhD student at the history school of Tel Aviv University and her research topic is the history of science and technology in late Qing China, focusing on the development of railways. 


She holds a BA and an MA (Summa Cum Laude) in East Asian Studies from Tel Aviv University.
