Irit Kohn

Adv. Irit Kohn was the Director of the Department of International Affairs at the Ministry of Justice.
In this capacity she was responsible for the issue of extradition, legal aid, child abductions and universal authority.
Irit was led the team that defended former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in a lawsuit against him in Belgium in the early 2000s.
After her retirement from the Ministry of Justice, Adv. Kohn taught law at Bar-Ilan University and at the College of Management, where her courses focused on laws of extradition. Irit currently serves as President Emeritus of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists.
