Naama Aviad

Naama Aviad is a senior analyst on Jordan at the Center for Political Research, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 


Prior to researching Jordan she served as an analyst for Palestinian Affairs at the Center for Political Research. 


Previously she worked as a Project Manager for the Middle East Program at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). 


Naama has an M.A in Islam and Middle East Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.A Arabic Language and Literature, also from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. 


Naama is a lecturer on the topic of the Arab Spring revolutions.

In 2016 she published a book titled “Soundtrack of the Revolution: Songs of Middle-East Turmoil, 2010-2015” Which follows the role of music and song in the Arab Spring.
