Pnina Shoker is a researcher (Newbauer Fellowship) at the Institute for National Security Studies and the President’s Fellow at Bar-Ilan University. 


Her thesis, "The Perception of the democratic society as sensitive to casualties and its impact on war management" Israel in the second Lebanon war" Inbar foundation prize of the Israel intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Center. 


She holds a bachelor's and master's degrees (cum laude) from Bar-Ilan University in strategy and national security studies. Her dissertation examines the concept of national resilience by decision-makers in democratic societies and how they influence coping with strategic threats, with comparative analysis between the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel. 


Previously, she worked as an investigator at The Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims' Assets. 


She teaches a course on "Government and Politics in Israel" at Bar-Ilan University and serves as a publicist at "Israel Hayom".
