Dr. Ronit Marzen is an expert on Palestinian society and politics.
Ronit teaches at the School of Political Science at the University of Haifa on Palestinian society and politics; political discourse within Arab society in Israel; and the correlation between family, emotions and uprising as seen in the Arab Spring.
She also served as a research fellow at the Chaikin Chair in Geo-strategy at the University of Haifa.
She served for 32 years in various roles within the Israeli security and intelligence community. She is the author of "Yasser Arafat - The Rhetoric of a Lonely Leader (in Hebrew)”, published by Resling Books.
