Israel's Policy Toward Egypt, Cooperation with the Palestinians, Israel–United States Relations, Israel–Diaspora Relations and the Situation on North American Campuses, The Former Soviet States, with a Focus on Russia and the Central Asian Republics.
Galit Baram is an Israeli career diplomat, She served in Moscow, Cairo and Washington DC, and was Consul General and Head of Mission in Toronto and Western Canada. At Headquarters in Jerusalem she was Director of the Department for Palestinian Affairs. She is currently Director of the US-Israel Political Relations Department.
Ms. Baram has a Bachelor's degree in English and Archaeology from Tel Aviv University, and a Master's in American Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
