Dr. Gil Baram is an expert in cyber strategy and policy. She is a senior lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and a research fellow at the UC Berkeley Cyber Center. She also consults with governments, companies, and international organizations, and delivers research-based lectures on strategic cyber issues, from field levels to senior management levels.
Her research and lecture areas encompass various aspects of cyber warfare, for example: the impact of technology on international security, cyber and national security in Israel, the role of intelligence organizations in cyber attacks, cyber threats to space systems, cybercrime and artificial intelligence, and more.
Dr. Baram was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University, and a research fellow at the Center of Excellence for National Security at Nanning University of Technology in Singapore. She previously worked in the field of cyber intelligence at the Information Security Authority (in the Prime Minister's Office).
