Merav is the VP for Data and Artificial Intelligence at the Israel National Digital Agency.

She is a leading figure in digital, data, and AI in the public sector. In her role, she leads the government’s strategy for data and AI, including establishing a Government Center of Excellence for Data & AI serving all ministries, developing policies and standards, and promoting data-driven solutions to improve public services and strengthen government decision-making processes.

Merav is a Lieutenant Colonel (res.) in Unit 8200, where she led cross-organizational projects to enhance and streamline information processing and to produce strategic insights.

She is an active advocate for gender equality in technology — a lecturer, mentor, and developer of programs promoting women in tech. She also serves as a mentor in Prof. Karine Nahon’s Government and Digital program at Reichman University, guiding students in national innovation projects.

Merav holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Hebrew Linguistics, and a master’s degree (with distinction) in Technology Management with a specialization in Information Systems. She is a graduate of Tel Aviv University’s Senior Directors Program.

She is married to Ofer and is a mother of three sons.
