Attorney Michal Gur Aryeh is Israel's Ambassador to Costa Rica.
In her previous position, Michal served as the Director of the Africa and Latin America Economic Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Michal joined the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999 and has held various roles, including spokesperson for the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi, Deputy Consul General in Istanbul, Deputy Ambassador in Belgium, and Political Attaché in Rome. She has also worked in the Legal Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters and in Public Diplomacy and Communication.
Attorney Gur Aryeh holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution from the Hebrew University. She is also a certified mediator and attorney.
She is fluent in English, French, and Italian. Michal is married and a mother of three daughters.
