Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Attorney Ori Egoz holds a Master's degree (with honors) in Law, specializing in Criminal Law and Human Rights (LL.M) from the Hebrew University, a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from Bar-Ilan University, and an additional Master's degree (M.F.A) with honors in Directing and Screenwriting from Tel Aviv University.

She served in the Military Advocate General's Corps in the fields of criminal and international law. Among other positions, she was the head of the military defense counsel for the Ground Forces and Southern Command, served as an assistant to the Chief Military Prosecutor, represented cases before the High Court of Appeals, and more. She has served as a judge for terrorism offenses in the Military Court of the Judea and Samaria region and as a mediating judge in serious criminal cases. She is a graduate and certified participant of the Battalion Commanders course and serves in the reserves in the International Law Unit.

In her past, she also served as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the International Agreements Department, specializing in terrorism and aviation.

She is a mediator, having completed a training course for Justice Facilitators in cases of sexual violence through the "Besedek" organization. She is a graduate of the "Restorative Justice" training and practicum by the "Mosaica" organization, as well as family mediation training and practicum through the Israeli Judiciary, the Goma-Gavim Israeli Center for Mediation.

She lectures in the legal social program of the Israeli Center for Human Dignity - the "Hand to Man" organization, and volunteers with the families of prisoners.

After October 7, she represented Israel at the UN Commission on the Status of Women concerning the sexual offenses committed during the brutal attack on Israel, appearing at various forums before European entities to present the war crimes perpetrated by Hamas against Israeli citizens.

Additionally, she directs and writes for theater and television.
