Dr. Oshrit Birdvadker is an expert in foreign policy and security of India, a senior analyst in Israeli and international media on India-related issues.
Dr. Birdvadker holds a PhD from Bar-Ilan University in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies (direct track), and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Science with high honors.
Dr. Birdvadker has received numerous awards for her academic excellence and pioneering research, including from the Israeli Academy of Humanities.
Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the influences of religion and geopolitics on India-Saudi Arabia relations.
Dr. Birdvadker lectures at Reichman University and at the Shalem Center in the Department of Strategy, Diplomacy, and Security.
Dr. Birdvadker serves as a consultant for companies and government offices. Additionally, she is a social entrepreneur and the founder of the "Mantra" initiative aimed at promoting immigrant women in Israel.
