Dr. Sagit Yehoshua
A criminologist specializing in profiling and risk assessment in the fields of terrorism and crime, she completed her doctoral thesis at King's College London on the socio-psychological profile of leaders of terrorist organizations, and even worked as a lecturer and researcher in England for several years.
Sagit is a research fellow at the ICT Institute for Counter-Terrorism Policy at Reichman University in Herzliya, and at the ICSR Center for De-Radicalization Research at King's College London.
Sagit currently teaches criminology, profiling, and terrorism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Reichman University in Herzliya, and the Midrash for Intelligence and Arabic in Tel Aviv. Sagit also conducts workshops and training in the fields of profiling and risk assessment in the fields of crime and terrorism for security, intelligence, and security and commercial companies in Israel and around the world.
Sagit serves as a profiler in the fields of terrorism and criminality also within the army, in the Strategic Negotiations Unit, and from the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, she was attached to the Sh'an unit, and worked extensively to decipher and manage cases related to the hostages.
Sagit serves as an independent consultant in the fields of profiling and risk assessments of criminals and terrorists in Israel and around the world, and is a member of the Dvora Forum, which supports women in the fields of foreign affairs and security.
