Sharon Shaviv is the Director of the Personnel Training Department at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During her diplomatic career, she served in three overseas postings in Rome, Atlanta, and San José.
Her previous roles at the Ministry’s headquarters in Jerusalem include Director of the South America Department; Director of the Diplomatic Cadet Course; Director of Performing Arts; and Director of the Policy and International Relations Department at MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation.
She holds a Master’s degree in Jewish Thought and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and in English Literature and Linguistics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
She is the mother of three sons and speaks Hebrew, English, and Spanish.
