Colonel IDF (res) Att. Sharon Zagagi Pinhas is the director of the Dinah Project and the former chief military prosecutor of the IDF. She has held numerous senior positions and prosecuted complex and high-profile legal cases during her twenty-four years of service in the Israel Defense Forces

Col (res) Att. Zagagi Pinhas is a Graduate of The IDF National Defense College, has an M.A in Political science, LLM (cum laude) and LLB.

Zagagi Pinhas is an expert on Military and Operational law, Criminal and Administrative law, and crime victims rights.

An expert on the subject of crime victims' rights, Col (res) Att. Zagagi Pinhas has spearheaded efforts to affirm the rights of victims of crime in the IDF and in Israeli society in general and promoted vital legislative amendments. Her groundbreaking work has led to significant legal precedents in the Israeli Supreme Court.

Col (Res) Att. Zagagi Pinhas is the director and co-founder of The Dinah Project, which was founded immediately following the events of October 7th, 2023, to combat denial of and provide justice for the victims of the sexual violence perpetrated on that day and in captivity.  Within the framework of the project, Col (Res) Att .Sharon Zagagi-Pinhas is one of the co-authors of the book A Quest for Justice: October 7 and Beyond, the most comprehensive legal analysis to date of the sexual and gender based crimes committed during the Hamas led attacks. Col (Res) Att .Sharon Zagagi-Pinhas is the recipient of the 2025 Israel Transparency Shield Prize awarded by the Shvil Association
