Shelly Wolkowicz is an expert in international affairs, innovation policy, and global partnerships, with experience spanning government, international organizations, civil society, and the Israeli innovation ecosystem.
She previously served as CEO of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), the umbrella organization representing Jewish student unions worldwide. In this role, she led international partnerships with governments, Jewish organizations, academic institutions, and civil society actors, while advancing leadership development and strengthening ties between Israel and Jewish communities around the world.
Prior to that, Shelly served as Senior Adviser for Science, Technology and Innovation at Israel’s delegation to the OECD in Paris, where she represented Israel on policy issues related to innovation, emerging technologies, and international cooperation. She also held positions at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transportation and taught Political Economy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Today, Shelly works as an independent strategic consultant, advising organizations, companies, and initiatives on innovation, strategy, business development, and international partnerships. She holds an International MBA with honors from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Peking University, and Sciences Po Paris.
