Dr. Shulamit Binah is a Middle East researcher with extensive experience in the Israeli public service and foreign affairs. She graduated from the Hebrew Reali School in Haifa and earned her Ph.D. from the University of Haifa.

Throughout her career, she served in research positions in Israel and at Israel's missions in New York, Washington, and Chicago. She is the author of United States–Iraq Relations: Confusion and Misperception from 1967 to 1979 (London, 2018).

Dr. Binah previously served as the Director of Gender Equality Affairs at an Israeli government ministry. She is currently a member of the editorial board of Mabat Malam, the journal of the Israeli Intelligence Heritage and Commemoration Center, and volunteers with the Conservative Judaism movement.
