Col. (Res.) Talia Lankri currently serves as Head of the National Guard Establishment Directorate at the Israeli National Security Council (NSC).
Lankri specializes in national crisis management.
Following a distinguished military career in the operational track—including serving as the first female battalion commander at the IDF Officers Training School (Bahad 1) and holding several other senior roles in which she was also the first woman—she joined the National Security Council. In her most recent roles, she served as Head of the Home Front Division and later as Acting Head of the Counter-Terrorism and Civilian Sphere Directorate. In her capacity at the NSC, she managed Israel’s national COVID-19 response and led the handling of additional national-level crises.
