Tanyah Murkes is the CEO of SID-Israel, the Society for International Development and Humanitarian Assistance.

Until 2022, she served as the Executive Director of Forum Dvorah: Women in Foreign Policy and National Security. In this role, Tanyah led a strategic transformation of the organization, including expanding its membership network, founding Forum Dvorah’s highly successful mentoring program for mid-level women professionals in the forum’s core fields, and advancing partnerships with policymakers, government ministries, foreign diplomats, research institutes, civil society organizations, media outlets, and thought leaders in Israel and abroad.

Tanyah brings nearly two decades of experience in strategy, policy, and public diplomacy. Her previous roles include: Director of the Israeli branch of Conservative Friends of Israel, a UK Conservative Party-affiliated organization; Director of the Israeli office of the Leadership Dialogue Institute; and professional positions at the Embassy of Israel in London, the Supreme Court of Israel, and an international philanthropic foundation.

She currently serves on the executive board of the advocacy group Bonot Alternativa.

Tanyah was named one of TheMarker’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2021.
