Dr. Tom Gal is an expert in international law, international humanitarian law, and international criminal law, with over 15 years of experience in public service, academia, and international legal consultancy. She serves as a senior officer in the Ministry of Justice and lectures on international law at Reichman University. Dr. Gal holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Geneva with distinction and a Master's degree in Humanitarian Law and Human Rights from the Geneva Academy with distinction. Her research and publications deal, among other things, with the laws of armed conflict, non-state armed groups, international criminal responsibility, and humanitarian law, and she has published articles and book chapters in leading publications in the field.
