Impact Economy · Public Diplomacy · Public-Private Partnerships

Vanessa brings a rich background in building cross-sector and international partnerships, developing sustainable business models, and securing diverse funding sources for civil society organizations. She has extensive experience in strategic communications, project management, and resource development.

In 2020, Vanessa began leading Israel’s National Advisory Board (NAB) for Impact Investing and founded the Israeli Forum for Impact Economy (IFIE) that same year. The Forum continues the work of the NAB and represents Israel in the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) — the world’s leading network in this field. IFIE serves as a national coordinating body aiming to foster collaboration among key players in Israel’s impact ecosystem.

Its vision is to promote an economy that actively works to reduce inequality, poverty, and negative environmental impact, while also driving sustainable economic growth and innovation. IFIE’s strategy is grounded in five pillars: awareness, policy, capital supply, capital demand, and impact tools (including measurement and financial instruments).

Prior to this role, Vanessa served as Deputy CEO of the Jerusalem Press Club, an organization dedicated to providing in-depth content for foreign journalists covering Israel. There, she led the organization's strategic development, expanded its operational channels, and advanced its fundraising capabilities. She also represented the organization and Israel in various international forums.

Vanessa holds a BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies, and an MA in East Asian Studies with a focus on China, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a graduate of Oxford University’s Impact Investing Programme, an alumna of Unit 8200, and fluent in Hebrew, French, and English, with intermediate proficiency in Chinese.
