Dr. Vered Elishar is a Senior Lecturer, Head of the Communication Department, and member of the Board od Directors at the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College (faculty member since 2009). She has previously taught at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Reichman University, Sapir College, and other academic institutions in Israel and the United States.

Vered holds a BA in Communication and Political Science and an MA in Communication (with honors, specializing in Political Communication) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her doctoral dissertation, also from the Hebrew University, focused on "The Internet as a New Work Tool for Political Reporters in the United States." Between 2004-2009, she resided in the United States, where she conducted post-doctoral research in the Department of Sociology at Boston College, served as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University (NYU), and taught at various universities in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, and New York.

Dr. Elishar has been an active member of the Israeli Forum of Climate Scientists since its establishment. She has published dozens of articles in leading international academic journals and has presented her work at numerous academic conferences in Israel and abroad.
