Sharona Mazalian Levi

Sharona Mazalian Levi is a doctoral student at the Alliance Centre for Iranian Studies at Tel Aviv University.
The subject of her dissertation deals with indoctrination in newspapers for children and youth in the first decade following the Islamic revolution in Iran.
She holds a master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies with honours from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Political Science and Middle Eastern studies from the Tel Aviv University.
She previously taught courses on political communications at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
From 2008-2011 Sharona served as the media advisor to Minister of Finance and member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee MK Yuval Steinitz, and from 2011-2018 she was the Director of the Investor Education Unit and Spokesperson for the Israeli Securities Authority.
Since June 2018, Sharona has been the spokesperson for Bank Hapoalim.
